Ford EV Sales Skyrocket

Ford’s electric vehicle sales in the United States shot up by 92% in the second quarter of 2022. This includes popular models like the all-electric Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, and E-Transit.

The Mustang Mach-E saw a whopping 35% increase in sales, making it Ford’s top-selling EV with 9,499 deliveries. It’s been so in demand that Ford had to stop taking orders for the 2022 model earlier this year. They’ve even unveiled a cool new 2023 Ford Mustang Nite Pony Package, giving the electric pony a sleek black-out look.

Ford is now the second best-seller of EVs in the United States, right behind Tesla. They’re even reorganizing their business to focus more on EVs, aiming to double EV production to 600,000 units per year by 2024 and hit two million all-electric vehicles annually by 2026.
