Luckily, the 2020 Ford Explorer has a lot to offer. The Ford Co-Pilot 360 is standard on every Explorer and includes BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System, Lane-Keeping System, Automatic Emergency Braking, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, and Rear View Camera. Two other standard safety features of the Explorer are SOS Post Crash Alert and Post-Collision Braking to ensure that your Explorer doesn't continue to roll after a collision and that help is on its way. The new rear-wheel-drive is designed to maximize performance and design with a more sportier look and feel that also adds 600 lbs. of towing capability. While the new Intelligent 4WD with Terrain Management System has seven different driving modes to select from that tailor performance to match off-road conditions or every day comminuting.

The 2020 Explorer has three powertrain options Jessup drivers to choose from that are all paired with a new 10-speed transmission that provides smooth upshifting, improved performance, and enhanced acceleration. The two gas engine options are a 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder that can tow up to 5,300 lbs. and a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 with a max towing ability of 5,600 lbs. The third powertrain option is a new 3.3L V6 hybrid that can tow up to 5,000 lbs. The 3.0L EcoBoost V6 generates 365 horsepower when powering the Platinum model and 400 horsepower under the hood of the new ST performance model; which is the most powerful Explorer ever.
